Student Ministry
Sunday Evenings
Students (6th-12th grade) gather on Sunday Nights in a rotation around their own unique Missional Communities, StepOut Worship, and CREW.
We long for our students to deep connections with a loving adult pouring their life into them AND with their peers. Our ministry made a shift in the fall of 2026 to prioritize a relational life-on-life model that strengthens their place in our overall church family through consistent worship with the generations and serving in their church family on Sunday mornings.
Mission
The mission of the student ministry is to grow each student’s relationship with Christ and each other. Through these relationships they can grow God’s Kingdom in our own neighborhood, city, and beyond.
Vision
The vision of the student ministry is to see every person involved have a deep, intimate relationship with Christ. Through this relationship they would live the great commission to spread the Gospel to the ends of the Earth.
CREW
C.R.E.W. is the name of our gathering that happens every other week. The goal of our meetings follows our name; to foster (C)ommunity and (R)elationship through (E)ncouragement and (W)orship. CREW is always open to visitors.
C.R.E.W. is a time for students to build, develop, and grow relationships with their peers as well as with God through meals, games and activities, worship, discussion. C.R.E.W. meets in the Connections Building of Waypoint Church from 5:30pm - 7:00pm and we always welcome friends and visitors.
Stepout student worship
StepOut returns as an expression of student-led and initiated times of worship. Students 6th-12th grade have a time of worship, small groups on site, and fun packed into the time together.
Specials
“Specials” are special events that happen a few times each semester. These events will generally have a specific focus such as missions, community relations, or just fun and fellowship. These events are always open to visitors as well.
