Plus, this intentional time away will bring a challenge spiritually that focuses on themes and issues of faith men face.

Class starts at 8:00am in Community Building 2, Room 4 and concludes at 10:30am, in time to attend second service.
There's no commitment to join by attending, but this class is required in order to officially join the family at Waypoint.

Waypoint JH/HS Students (completed 6th-12th) will serve children and families through our partnership with STCH Ministries on TWO DIFFERENT campuses this summer. We return to the Children's Home near Beeville, Texas AND add a second site at the Homes for Families campus near Goliad.
Students take the lead on ministry efforts to love on children with elements from VBS, sports games, relational moments, and student-led worship.
Students involved will be required to attend planning meetings to help prepare to lead.

THE WORSHIP PROJECT, our summer spiritual growth intensive, returns every Sunday night in July. This summer the focus will be on the person of the Holy Spirit.
Each week involves moments of learning, worship, prayer, and discovery for growing our experience in being led by the Spirit. Come and deepen your understanding of the Holy Spirit and how He works in our everyday life.
The Worship Project meets EVERY Sunday in July, 5:30pm-7:00pm
Event Registration is ONLY REQUIRED for CHILDCARE. Registration is BELOW for ages birth-5th grade.

Waypoint Student Camp will take place on the campus of LeTourneau University in Longview, TX for jr./high school students (completed 6th-12th). We join students from partner churches around Texas to create an impactful week in student’s lives. Don’t miss it.

At Scuba VBS, kids dive into friendship with God! Scuba is filled with awesome Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, and touch! Hands-on science experiments, team-building games, unforgettable Bible songs, and tasty treats are just a few of the standout activities that help faith flow into real life. (Since everything is hands-on, kids might get a little messy. Be sure to send them in play clothes and sturdy shoes.) Plus, we’ll help kids discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life—something we call God Sightings®. Get ready to hear that phrase a lot!
Kids will also participate in a hands-on mission project, through a program called Operation Kid-to-Kid.

StepOut returns as an expression of student-led and initiated times of worship. Students 6th-12th grade have a time of worship, small groups on site, and fun packed into the time together.
We are facing potential storms during the time when our serving projects are set to happen. We will be monitoring this and praying that the weather forecast might shift in our favor around the three hours of our efforts – or a portion of our time at least.
We plan to make it happen tomorrow as MOST of our projects are NOT outside this year.
Our Katy Responds projects have been sent to a single location earlier today – now only tackling the project at the residence in Katy.
Our Brookshire and Richmond sites all have inside work for a portion.
As well, all the projects at Waypoint are indoors.

Waypoint is turning FIVE! Come celebrate this big milestone with us on SUNDAY, APRIL 21 at ONE SERVICE at 10:00AM. We are planning a unique day under the tent for worship.
We will spend this morning praising God, looking back at His faithfulness, and aiming our efforts at the future that lies ahead as a church family. God is just getting started!

StepOut Student Worship is a student-led and initiated time of worship. Students 6th-12th grade engage in a time of worship, small groups on site, and other elements in the time together.
Our April StepOut is on location at Pecan Grove Baptist Church.
Our focus this Easter will be HOPE IS RISING. Join us at one of our three identical worship times of 8:15am, 9:30am and 11:00am on this special Resurrection Sunday.
